Accepting Applications
The City of Hubbard is accepting applications for a Utilities Trainee I position in its Electric Dept.
The Civil Service Commission of Hubbard, OH will hold a competitive examination for the position. Applications must be made on the regular application form obtainable from the city website under Civil Service / Applications; and must be obtained and filed during the period of Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 8AM until Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1PM. APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER 1PM ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2020. Completed applications can be mailed to the Mayor’s Office (220 W. Liberty St.; Hubbard, OH 444245) or dropped in the Utility Night Drop Box.
Applicants shall be a United States Citizen or persons who have legally declared their intentions of becoming US citizens, or possesses a valid permanent resident ID card and must hold a valid motor vehicle license as issued by the State of Ohio. All degrees, certifications and credentials must be properly documented and submitted with the applications obtained from the City of Hubbard.
The test will be administered on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 6:00PM (doors open at 5:30PM) at the City of Hubbard’s Senior Center, 220 W. Liberty St., Hubbard, OH 44425. COVID-19 precautions of social distancing and masks must be worn.
