The Civil Service Commission of Hubbard, Ohio will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. in the conference room at the city administration building. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the scheduling and administering a Full-Time Patrolman Civil Service Exam. This meeting is open to the public.
The City of Hubbard has openings on several boards / committees. Volunteering provides an opportunity for citizen participation in the process of government and increase their knowledge and skills by working with a variety of people on issues that might not otherwise be a part of their private lives. Serving on a board or committee is one of the most effective ways for citizens to give back to the community and influence city policies and activities.
To be eligible for an appointment, volunteers should have interest or knowledge in the committee’s subject matter. Volunteers should also be available to meet at the committee’s regular meeting time. Residency in the City of Hubbard is also required for each board or committee.
