There will be a Public Participation Meeting on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Council Chambers at the Hubbard Municipal Building starting at 7:00 PM. All residents living in the target area, located east of State Route 7 and north of State Route 304 are encouraged to attend to discuss the possibility of receiving a CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Grant through the Board of Trumbull County Commissioners. The Grant would be vital in assisting the City to make needed infrastructure improvements within the aforementioned target area.
Target area residents (homeowners and renters) should have received a Questionnaire and Survey to complete and return to the City in person or with the self-addressed, stamped return envelope. It is important to note: PARTICIPATION IN THE SURVEY IS NECESSARY TO ESTABLISH ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS GRANT FUNDING! PLEASE SEND YOUR SURVEYS VIA MAIL, IN THE CITY’S NIGHT DEPOSIT OR IN PERSON! WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING THE SURVEYS!
This Grant is resident driven, so your INPUT and PARTICIPATION is ESSENTIAL in determining the projects that will be included in the Grant request, as well as scoring for the competitive grant application.
The City will compile a summary of the needs surveys and present the results at the public meeting. There will be discussion on the results to develop projects to include in the Grant application.
