UPDATE – Rebecca Ave. / Caroline Ave. Waterline Replacement – Begins 3/25/2024
As you should hopefully be aware of, the water mains on Caroline and Rebecca Ave are being replaced this Spring. This work is being done due to the considerable number of water line breaks that have occurred on both streets and to ensure reliable and consistent service. To that effect, the City of Hubbard has entered into a contract with Utility Contracting Inc to replace said lines. The contractor plans to commence work on Monday, March 25, 2024. The work will include all of Rebecca and Caroline Ave from West Liberty St to Myron St.
Please be advised of potential traffic disruptions on both streets during the construction project. The City of Hubbard asks for your patience during the Waterline Replacement Project. Please allow extra travel time as delays may occur. Temporary roadway disruptions may occur. Residents may notice Utility Marking Flags and Paint as underground utilities are located prior to construction beginning. For safety reasons, please keep children and pets away from the construction zone. The predicted duration of the project is 3 to 4 months. The City of Hubbard expects the work to wrap up approximately July1,2024. For any questions concerning the project, please contact Service Superintendent Kevin Lyden at 330-509-3720 or the Utility Billing Office at 330-534-3054.
