About Wastewater
The City of Hubbard dedicated the building of a Waste Water Treatment Plant on October 7, 1990. The plant was a part of a project which also improved sanitary lines. The total cost of the project was $10,929,701.00.
The plant is currently being updated in phases, with Phase 1, the installation of a new dewatering system and upgrades to the sludge storage tanks, being completed in 2016. The cost of Phase 1 was over two million dollars. Phase 2, which will improve the grit removal process as well as the aeration system, is projected to have costs similar to Phase 1.
Phase 2 is now in progress.
