A General Public Hearing for Trumbull County, Ohio has been set for Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at the Hubbard City Administration Building, located at 220 West Liberty Street, Hubbard, Ohio 44425.
The Board of Trumbull County Commissioners is accepting proposals for projects to be funded through the PY2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Development Program and will be holding one of three countywide public hearings here in Hubbard. The state’s CDBG Program, including both annual allocations and competitive grants, will be described at the hearing.
The City of Hubbard has an opportunity to apply for a CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Grant through the Board of Trumbull County Commissioners which could assist the city in making needed infrastructure improvements within a defined target area: the northeast quadrant of the City of Hubbard including the residential neighborhoods located east of State Route 7 and north of State Route 304.
Trumbull County is conducting the General Public Hearing in order to gather input on the county’s community and economic development needs.
Residents of Hubbard are encouraged to attend, especially those within the target area noted above.
