A Letter from The Hubbard City Chaplain Ministry
The City Transformation Team (CTT) began in 2013 as a group of local clergy serving a variety of needs throughout Hubbard. The CTT is comprised of some clergy currently serving Hubbard community churches. The CTT also includes some Hubbard city police and city administration. CTT chaplains serve our community under the guidance of the City of Hubbard Police Department. We go on ride-alongs with the city police officers. We serve with our time, talent and training in care and counsel to and for the Hubbard community as well.
It is our hope that God will use our love for this community and His eternal truth, to transform lives. The police are skilled and trained to protect citizens from harm, and to curb criminal activity. When invited into a scenario that involves the police, CTT chaplains walk with those touched by trauma. We work through the emotional and spiritual issues that may be resources of confusion and risk, in the aftermath of trauma. We accept and affirm the divine worth of each person as valued citizens of Hubbard. The CTT is not one primary chaplain for partnering with the Police Department. As many as 6 chaplains have been part of the CTT on a regular basis.
Perhaps you are interested in finding out more what the CTT is about? We would like to invite you to a monthly meeting. We meet the 4th Tuesday in the Conference Room at the Hubbard City Administration Building (220 W. Liberty St.) at 9AM. Also, if you know of an organization who might benefit from this contact, please copy this letter and hand it out. If you have any questions, would like to accept this invitation to attend a CTT meeting, or would like to request a chaplain to speak with your organization at your meeting/gathering, please contact: Chap. Dave Garlich at 330-883-3451.
Regards,
The Chaplains of the City Transformation Team — Hubbard, Ohio
