Our Commitment to Public Safety
The City of Hubbard prides itself on being one of the safest communities in the greater Mahoning Valley. Our Law Enforcement Officers take great satisfaction in delivering professional policing services to our community in a way that is efficient, effective and compassionate. Our civilian staff members make an invaluable contribution to attaining these goals. Additionally, our Chaplains help us to assist those segments of our community whose needs may be underserved.
Our Chaplains’ Corp is one example of community partnerships that we support as we strive to provide quality law enforcement services to all citizens in the City of Hubbard. Under a Community Policing philosophy, the department consistently seeks to collaborate with citizens, neighborhoods and community groups to better understand the nature of local issues and develop mutual strategies. Our commitment to these partnerships enables us to better address citizen needs, develop meaningful and cooperative problem-solving strategies, and provide the best service possible.
The City of Hubbard Police Department patrols the city’s 3.5 square miles of community with a police force of 13 full-time Officers, supplemented by part-time and Auxiliary Officers. All Police Officers, civilian employees, and Chaplains are proud of our community and are resolved to serve it with honor and distinction.
