The City of Hubbard will begin the 2023 Flushing Program of all waterlines maintained by the City of Hubbard. Some of these waterlines are located in Hubbard Township, so please do not be surprised to see us.
This is an important part of system maintenance as well as an E.P.A. requirement aimed at exercising our infrastructure and keeping the highest quality of water supplied in our system.
The flushing will begin on Sunday, April 29, 2023. Flushing will be between the hours of 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. No interruptions of service are expected as a result of the flushing. Residents may experience some cloudy or discolored water during use after flushing, but this will clear shortly. It is suggested that residents flush internal water lines and fixtures until they run clear water. Running several cold-water faucets at the same time will help clear water faster.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. The City of Hubbard strives to provide our customers with the highest quality water possible.

As an Ohio Public Water System, the City of Hubbard is mandated to continually maintain compliance with Ohio EPA regulations. In 2016, the Ohio Legislature adopted new requirements related to lead and copper for public water systems. Under these new regulations, the City is required to submit an inventory of lead service lines by October 16, 2024. In addition to lead and copper compliance, the City has developed an asset management plan in compliance with Ohio EPA requirements. The asset management plan reviews the technical, managerial, and financial capability of our water system with updates to the plan performed on a routine basis.
If you have any further questions regarding the quality of your water or the CCR report, please contact City Water Administrator Kenneth Day at (330) 534-3054. For questions regarding the service line self-test process, please contact Steve Preston or Ellie Bodnar at ms consultants, inc. (330-744-5321). Thank you.
